Oh Poo and bother a poem to write
About a Witch in November
On firework night
Ghosts that go bumping
At Halloween and then
Who can I copy from
I'm going round the bend
Berlimey that's good
What Fennie just writ
But if I copy off that
I'll be in deep . . . well you know
Same goes for Peter
and Blossom, Oh bogger
I'll write out a sick note
To send from my Mother
Eeek no she's dead
That might just be spotted
And I'll get all my T's crossed
And my eyes will be dotted
What to do what to do
Look wot Jaynebeth's done
Arrghh wish I'd thought of that
Such berludy good fun
I'll nip round the bike sheds
See if Toady is there
We'll work out a plan
Of trouble and dare
Like the dog ate my homework
Or . . .It was vanishing ink
Hmmmmm its gotta be believable
Or there'll be a real stink.
Miss, Miss my homework - I'd done it
Then the doorbell did went
Cos someone had rung it
And there stood a ghost
Eating fireworks for lunch
When a rocket shot past
And on my homework did jump
It was caramalised in seconds and probably less
Oh dear such a shame
Cos I'd done more than my best
Now this is the spooky bit
November or not
Here is the crux of this wobbly plot
My homework is doing
And everything is fine
Because all this will happen . . . .

In two weeks time . . . |

Please MISS . . . Missssssss. . . . . MISS
I was looking on the internet
When what did I see
A baby dragon for sale
Whoop whoop that's for me
So I ordered it on line
As you do nowadays
And soon arrived a box
By now well ablaze
I keep it in the fireplace . . . . . . . . . (the dragon, not the box!)
Amongst the cinders and logs
And it is much more fun
Than a cat, or dog
I love my little dragon
And he loves me
But there is a slight problem
As you will see . . .
Yes . . . Please Miss
He burnt my homework
To a cinder and then
He ate up all the ashes
And flew around the room
Please Miss he burnt my homework
Not once, but seven times
He seems to find my homework
Really quite sublime
Yes Miss he burnt my homework
And I'd have brunged you a note
But Miss he burnt that too
Perhaps I'll write it on a goat
Please Miss he burnt my homework
So may I be excused
And now Miss I have to go
To caramalise some food! |

Remember, remember homework set in November,
Some of us did quite a lot,
Then who came up with all sorts of excuses?
The witch who had clearly lost the plot,
In the past she had nick work from others portfolio,
Taking their work off the net,
This time she squirmed, at the thought of doing poetry,
And its clear Honest Joe won’t take the bets.
First she asked mother, but that was no good,
As she has gone to a place where has to be said,
Witches can’t cheat, or get Mummy to do it instead,
No this time dear witchy your homework will be covered in RED!!
She tried the dog ate my homework, the dragon got it burnt,
But the simple truth is, she just never, never learns,
When dear Faith sets us a task to do, with clearly written instructions.
Keep to the rools, or I can tell you..... there will be ructions! |

Merits to EVERYONE who attempted this homework. They were all BRILLIANT! Gold Star to Jaynebeth for The Firework Party and Green Star to WW for the Dragon Poem. Loved them both!
This homework is now ended but the Poetry one continues in the new homework thread. |
