Cowart's Common Room
Morning Larks

Morning Larks,

A lovely bright sunny day with quite a moderate breeze, good enough to get thy linen dry at least.

Apologies for not popping in lately, I have somehow developed a nasty rash which has driven me nuts had it for a week and still have it. Went to see my lovely Doc yesterday and he said I have Allergic Dermatitis, good grief.! He has prescribed a special cream which I have to apply four times a day for one week and the following second week apply it for only twice a day for one week. To follow will be a special Moisteriser to apply to the skin. To make matters worse I have developed the rash all over my body except my face. No idea how I got it, I have been in contact with Crysanthimum flowers and had no idea these varities people can be allergic to.

Son came up from Surrey for a short visit last Saturday on his own lovely to see him. He treated us to a lovely meal at our local pub on Saturday night but I 'm afraid I indulged in too much of the drinky poo's... double brandy and then a quarter large glass of the old red Rojoco , was up in the night several times in the loo and horrid hangover in the morning too.. that'll teach me.!Very Happy

Have a good day everyone.Very HappyLinked Image

Re:
Camilla's Avatar There is a baby collared dove nesting again this time in next door's sky dish in back garden. Never used the nest last year, I see the parent dove come down to feed the baby bird sometimes, but also saw the baby which is quite large fly out with it's parent onto the nearby roof, so scared my Patch will catch them he's pretty quick Patch. But perhaps the baby in the nest is not a baby but is a female dove sitting on the nest waiting for the baby's to hatch, think this must be so.

Camilla's Avatar Have a lovely Easter Bank Holiday everyone, it will be a quiet one for me this year just myself and HL.. that should be fun.! Son is travelling up with his young family to Eastbourne for Easter to stay over at my DIL's sister house there. Think my daughter will be working lots of night shifts over Easter so we wont see her I don't think as she will be sleeping during the day.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Thanks FN, the bouquet my son bought for me for mothers day recently had some Crysanthemums in them I also touched the same flowers which my eldest granddaughter bought for my daughter when I was staying over last week but I never knew one could be allergic to these type of flowers. Gosh they are in food too.! what type of foods FN? So fed up with all these allergy's I have to look on the ingredients on every packet and tin of food jut in case.

Re:
Fairy Nuff's Avatar Some of the aster family are in mixed salad leaves and others are used in food as flavouring. The only ones I can think of offhand is dandelion and burdock, endives and chicory.
