Cowart's Common Room
Black and White Lark

Morning all.

Wonderful day yesterday, basking in spring sunshine. Anyone watch 'The Artist' last evening on BBC 4. Most excellent film - won an Oscar a few years ago. A silent film, shot in black and white and most amusing but also tragic. But a modern film not an old film. It features a Jack Russell dog who does tricks, not unlike Camilla's dog Patch. Do watch it on iPlayer if you haven't seen it before.

See thre trailer (and the dog) here. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1655442/videoplayer/vi2003082265?ref_=vi_nxt_ap Very HappyVery Happy

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar Not seen it.
Our hopes for faster broadband look like being realised in the next few months. Then we will be able to download at a sensible speed. Currently about 1.5!

Spent the morning doing more chores, more laundry, some shopping to do again later and of course a walk over the beach.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar The dog doesn't die, Camilla. But he does save someone's life. Very Happy

Having an aggravating morning as I can't access my VAT account on line and I have to make the return by the end of the month. All due to HMRC changing their 'security' arrangements. I want to pay the Government money but it won't let me and no doubt will fine me if I don't! SadSad

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Ah dog does not die that's good.

Best of luck with the VAT Fennie, perhaps you will have to change your security in line with their new one? I know one has to be pretty careful paying online.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Broadband is good here but cripplingly expensive. Sad

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar It will certainly cost us more - it worth it.
