Cowart's Common Room
Morning Larks

Morning Larks,

Quite a chilly day today here but a lovely breeze to get the linen dry . I hear the end of February it is going to be the warmest on record for this month reaching 20 degrees.

Son is planning to visit on his own on Saturday to see us only a short stay until Sunday lunchtime before he heads back again to Surrey.

Have a good day everyone.Very HappyLinked Image

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Foxy?!?? Not Wolfie?

I learned today in French that a female wolf is une louvre (the male is un loup, which I knew) but une loupe (which you might expect to be a female wolf) actually means a magnifying glass. There's no rhyme of reason to these things.Very Happy

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar Nice to have son on his own. Much as we are lucky enough to love the in-laws, we always like to see our children on their own. They are more natural, not worrying about their other halves being ok

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Oh of course Fennie, I should have said it is Wolfy not Foxy. The Wolf in the pic is a kind Wolf though.Very Happy

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Yes I agree Withy, also son will be able to relax this time without his family as he will be looking after them from Monday gone this week right up until Friday evening as his wife is now back at work full time and he and his wife will share the hols with the girls rather than son and his wife being home the same time term holidays occur.
