Re:
Lampworkbeader's Avatar Not everyday you'd want to find one either I should imagine. I wonder how they knew it was microwaved and not out of an ordinary oven? Blink

Re:
Faith's Avatar Maybe it hadn't been cooked - maybe it was still in the packet (do they come in packets?)..... weird!

Funny I was only thinking earlier it's a long time since I've had an (aga baked)
jacket potato.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar It's obvious: the overalls had been in the microwave too. Very Happy
Maybe there was a microwaved carrot in the other pocket. The real question is how to get the butter in. Also how is to top of the potato cut? I have never seen a potato cut like so, the way it looks as though someone has dug a grave on the top of it. But I must learn. All my microwave potatoes atre cut in half, which isn't special and doesn't hold the butter, cheese or what you will. Must be a special Scots invention to cut a tattie like that. Fill it with oatmeal, too maybe, before putting it in your overalls pocket.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Perhaps one of the staff had popped one in the micro wave for their lunch at the back of the store, then was called away only to discover they had forgotten about the backed pot in their pocket. Must have been pretty hot though.Very Happy

Re:
Fennie's Avatar In one of his diaries Alan Bennett talks about a well known person - writer or poet or perhaps an actor, I forget - picking up a lambchop when dining at the Café Royal and putting it into his pocket, gravy and all. So perhaps the owner of the overalls was a similar scribbler.Very Happy
