Cowart's Common Room
Sunday Lark

Morning Larks,

Phew! Boy it's hot hot hot today.

Had a lovely time at my son in laws big birthday celebration in the garden weather was hot but not quite so hot as it is today. Met lots of people I had not seen before and a lady who used to work on the ward where I worked years ago although she left before I had so did not know her then. Got to spend time with a tiny 6 month baby boy who was just gorgeous amazing amount of hair for a tiny baby and two front teeth already too and he did not cry once bless him. Lots of food at the party and lots of drink although I kept to lemonade seeing as I was driving got back home at 10pm. Elaine kindly walked Patch home for me he said he had a lovely time playing with her dogs .

Laptop still on the blink all to do with it not allowing me to log in with my chosen password which I have had for ages and I don't want to change the password why is this I wonder anyone else been asked to change their password for security reasons?

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.Very Happy

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Odd dream in the night dreamt I was going a long journey with Patch we were on foot but I had lost my way meanwhile a raging wind storm appeared and we met some strange people, fearing for our lives I decided to make it back home again without ever getting to where we were going in the first place and then when we did make it home found the front door had been painted in another colour.Very Happy

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Oh dear I did make a comment earlier but it has vanished - I suppose I didn't press the comment button.

Re the dream - perhaps you have been watching to much King Lear!

Re the party so glad ou had a good time. But it sounds as though you wouldn't have minded taken baby home even if home had a differently painted front door. Very HappyVery Happy

Re:
Fennie's Avatar I also made a comment on your password. I thiunk I suggested you change your password but just by adding some letters and symbols to your old password eg 1@3FOUR. Providers nowadays request long passwords containing long passwords with letters and symbols some upper case some lower case. Or perhaps you could write to AA if he is still around. I am afraid I am not an expert. Very Happy

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Phew what a scorcher it is today, no breeze at all here and I am wilting.Very Happy At the moment I am cooking fillet of pork chops for HL, roast pots, and veg, and the oven is making me hotter, fan is on though.

Daughter and her husband popped over for an hour earlier this afternoon which was lovely.

Walked Patch just short walks today as it is too hot for dogs, he must have been very active over at Elaine's yesterday as he is already snoozing on the sofa.

Have good evening everyone.Very Happy

Manged to get online with laptop for now but know it will cut me out again might have to choose a pin number for it which they keep asking me to do. Not my bank one though.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Well grumpy old me isn't a fan of pork chops to begin with and in this weather with roast potatoes? How does he manage, though having said that we did have a roast - roast cauliflower and pacora the letter if I have spelt them correctly (doubtful) are like spicy falafel - Indian and vegetarian. We had melon and ginger to start and some white wine.

Very hot here. Total absence of cloud, humid, little breeze, 27.5 degrees.Very Happy

Re:
Faith's Avatar Withy its 30 here. I had to have the fan going all night.

Camilla, it's good to change all passwords and pins occasionally so don't worry about it.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Not a fan of pork chops either Fennie in fact I have signed petitions recently to end the suffering of the way they are slaughtered it takes 60 seconds inhumanely for them to pop their clogs .Sad
