Fennie's Avatar Oi! Get orf me perch. Very HappyVery Happy

But thank you Camilla. The Lark Perch is indeed broad and wide and can take all sorts of birds at all sorts of times. So clamber aboard and make free.

Strangely enough I was thinking the same thought yesterday but in reverse - how far we had come since Christmas and that dreary, dark, cold, wet time until spring came round again and the grass starting re-growing. Make the most of summer while you can. Very HappyVery Happy

Re:
Fairy Nuff's Avatar Grey and wet here today but then the local music festival is on this weekend and we all know festivals are not the same unless you are knee deep in mud. Cool
Our summer is normally split on either side of the school holidays so we had half of it in May and June and we await the other half in late August and September.Laughing

Re:
Camilla's Avatar HahaVery Happy beat you to it this morning Fennie, yes perch is bigger enough to take any and the more the merrier.

Took Patch over to the beach this morning for an hour really beautiful over there this time of the day and not too many folk they will no doubt be filling up later here. Patch and I arrived at the beach cafe yesterday afternoon via our walk. I was gasping for a Cappaccino and noticed there was one little beach hut available that was empty, how to bag the hut and put my order in I know was going to be difficult seeing as no dogs allowed inside the cafe. Could not leave with any other people visiting outside as they all has very young tots and Patch is not good with them, couldn't be trusted. So I put one foot inside the doorway to the cafe holding Patch with my other hand outside and enquired to the young girl serving behind the counter could I have a Capaccinno please. Can't leave the counter I'm afraid she said grumpily can't you tie your dog up. Sadly no he is always very unruly. Her other assistant came out with my order though £2.50 for one which was very welcome and then we set back home along the dunes.

Lots of lovely warm sunshine here but lots of clouds in the sky but the the breeze is welcoming.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar We had a very very hot June this year a world record I should think nearly into early 90's. Perhaps we will have a hot August but I am looking forward to the Autumn one of my favourite seasons along with Spring.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Your weather much like ours, Camilla. And the Autumn my favourite season too unless it be for those couple of weeks in April when the sun comes out warmly on the new foliage and apple blossom and all seem right with the world and a new future seems to be beginning. But the autumn when the nights close around you like a blanket and wood fires are lit but the sun still shines strong and low inn the sky and the leaves scrunch underfoot. The end of the year. Packing up and going home.Very HappyVery Happy
