Cowart's Common Room
I Can't Sleep Chat Post

Hello Owls and Larks,

Looks like it is going to be a fine weekend with plenty of sunshine, good enough even to be relaxing in your hammock with a good book and a glass of the old Pimms, enjoy.!Very Happy

Pot of tea, off to take a tour of the site later before lamps out.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Have a lovely weekend everyone, planning on visiting daughter tomorrow afternoon but just realised today that when Jag went into garage earlier in the month they did not fix my two front tyres with slow punctures, that will never do.... So need to get to garage nearby before venturing off.

Nighty night dear owls and larks, sweetest of dreams.

xx

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Yes, do get your tyres fixed Camilla. Never try to save money on tyres. Do you not have a specialist depot nearby?

Very tired last night after the election night but slept better and reasonably fit this morning.

Re:
Fairy Nuff's Avatar Do you stay up to watch it Fennie? I'm not sure I could stay awake long enough, especially if they are talking politics in between results.

Wet and miserable start to the day here Camilla, there does happen to be a can of Pimms in the fridge though courtesy of, believe it or not, Mr Pimm! (it was a lovely afternoon when he brought it in but I've not drunk it yet).

Yes, dodgy tyres are not good.

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar Fit but depressed!
Garages are hopeless with tyres. As Fennie asked, do you not have a reasonably local tyre specialist?

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Withy, I can understand. I may not agree but I can offer sympathy having so often been there myself! Very Happy

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Morning All,

Not a good night's sleep at all and then felt sick as a dog and indigestion and to top it all tinnitus for good measure. Woke with banging headache and still feel a little sick.Blink

Might not drive over to daughters today but ask her to come here instead. No local garages here well the nearest one is about 15 mins drive away but they are mainly just for petrol and car wash.

I'm afraid I did not watch the elections last night and even all the discussions being thrown into the hat would leave me feeling depressed.

What a fitting name FN .... Mr Pimm's delivering a Pimm's !Very Happy

Re:
Bradan's Avatar It's bucketing down here and has been since the early hours. Our internet has been dodgy all week. Some adjustments made to the router yesterday so it's sorted hopefully although the satellite dish is currently drenched and bobbing about in the wind.

Stayed up on Thursday night to see if our MP was re-elected, he was. Not at all impressed with the overall result though.

One of my sons went camping yesterday, he's an assessor for the Duke of Edinburgh thing and he and another staff member who's something to do with it took some of the school pupils on their expedition, weather was perfect yesterday, such a shame about today's.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Fingers crossed Bradan Internet soon back in again. Our next door neighbours have satellite dish in back of their garden to cottage they rented just under the dish a collard dove has made a nest.
