Cowart's Common Room
Pic of the day

I couldn't believe this rose was real but it was! Mostly I don't like real flowers to be dyed but this was exceptionally beautiful!

Re:

Re:
Fennie's Avatar I don't like dead flowers either. But I am happy with artificial ones. Once when I was looking after someones house I watered their artificial plant so real did it look and confessed to them afterwards that the water ran straight out the bottom of the pot. They told me why. I did feel foolish. Embarassed

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Roses are a favourite - yellow for some reason, but also white and dark red - not so keen on oranges or pinks or stripy ones.
Oink rambling roses can be pretty, though. But nasturtiums are also lovely and foxgloves and purple flowers, lobelia and speedwell. Irises are very pretty too. I rescued some swamp Iris that had been run over by a tractor and would have died if I hadn't taken it home and it has grown at the front of my house and flowers every year despite not living in a swamp. I have a willow tree to keep it company.Very HappyVery Happy

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Nasturtiums have just begun to pop up here, love the Iris's too.

One single tall rose here which I have wondered what the colour is going to be looks like it may be a Red one.
