Camilla - 'Flamingo' song

Could this be it:

"'Flamingo' (1940) is a popular song and jazz standard written by Ted Grouya and Edmund Anderson and first performed by singer Herb Jeffries and the Duke Ellington Orchestra. Other notable versions were recorded by Earl Bostic in 1951, who hit number one on the R&B chart,[1] Charles Mingus on the album Tijuana Moods (1957) and Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass on the album S.R.O. (1966)."

Camilla's Avatar Morning All.

Many thanks Bradan, it must be the first one Jazz standard 1940 I should think, and I do remember there were no vocals to it. Will see if I can access through YouTube later on the 1940 one.

Thanks also Faith for putting up that link but it is not that one.Very Happy

Camilla's Avatar A beautiful warm sunny day here with a cool breeze, perfect !Very Happy

Have had a bad back for a few days now mainly down my right lower shoulder blade could be to do with throwing Patch's ball for him with the long blue throwy thing which makes the ball go faster. Eyes are hurting too feels like they are sore and peppery burny in both eyes. I am a right old crotchety thing at the moment. I know Matron will scold and tell me I must see the optician, so must make an appointment I am sure it is free too being nearly 70. They can also check for Glaucoma which I found out last year is in my family, no psycadelic lights though or halos thank goodness.
