Fennie's Avatar Oh dear poor you! You must be terribly tired, worried and stressed. Horrible places hospitals even if it isn't you that is ill. You do post lovely pictures to cheer us all up. Better no doubt than those in the hospitals.

Is your HL back home or was he kept in?

Camilla's Avatar Morning All,

Yes quite a stressful day Fennie and quite mentally exhausting, I loathe hospitals much different situation to actually working on the ward.

Have posted on the PF.

Beautiful sunny day clear blue sky but the wind is a tad keen, owner of cottage that backs on to mine has lit her fire this morning it seems great clouds of thick soot wallowing through the chimney and it can choke you to death. No cap on her chimney and she needs to have her chimney swept I would have thought. Talk about environmental issues!

Fairy Nuff's Avatar If your neighbour's chimney is that bad I should think a nice chimney fire will be on the cards soon to clear it out! Confused

You could do with a nice spot to relax in like in your picture... without the clouds of smoke. Very Happy

Camilla's Avatar I shall be having words with our local council today FN, health and safety & Environment dept. owner of the cottage is a single dwelling which I believe used to be outbuildings, when they light the fire the smoke just goes straight down their chimney so not affected, but I have to bear all the smoke wafting over to my side.
