Fancy a Frolic to mid 18th Century New YorK?

Fancy a frollic through mid 18 century New York, if so you're in for a treat. Golden Hill by Francis Spufford is our Purple Coo Spring Read 2017 and as I've said, this has to be the best book I’ve come across this year. I'm two thirds of the way through and have laughed out loud and gasped in horror in just about equal measures. Shall we start making our comments on 26th May? Will that give you enough time to read this frolicsome tale do you think?
Love Lampie, the purple book prefect. Blink

Re:
Inthemud's Avatar Thank you Lampie, I thought maybe Paying guests would get it from the votes on your blog, but maybe you got other votes elsewhere I didn't see.

Re:
Lampworkbeader's Avatar Yes I had a couple of votes on Purple Coo as well, though I admit it was a close run thing, just one vote between them.
