Cowart's Common Room
I CAN'T SLEEP CHAT POST
Hello to all the owls across the pond, it's the weekend, where did that week go.!
Grandson is arriving later at lunchtime today, goodie, means I can spoil him rotten, that's what Grandma's are for.!
Have been watching snippets of news of the latest on the election, looks like it is a 'hung parliament......... heck, that means voting again in about a year's time.
Whatever your plans are for the weekend, have a fab time.
If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.
Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Re:

Back from another long day the shop. It continues to amaze me that in the face of all the economic financial turmoil, some folks still have got credit cards at the ready and just want to spend, spend, spend. We are having fabulously busy days at the shop.
Pasta is in front of me. I will have a few bites and hope that other owls might join me on the perch.

RE

You are not alone Frances, this little owl can keep you company.
I have my cuppa, and that little bar of choc.!
Have just left you message on Bear's post in CR, so pleased you are alright, phew.!
A very long day at the shop for you Frances, think you also deserve a chilled glass of yummy shiraz with your delicious supper.
Think as you say Frances that there is still lots of money around despite the financial situation, have credit cards but need to take a short rein on it.!

Re:

I know how late it is for you now. Please do get some rest, and have a fabulous time with your grandson. I continue to think what that brave boy has been through and how wonderful it is that he has you as grandmother and champion.
Please, Camilla, do log out, head off for that wonderful land of nod.
Perhaps I will see you here tomorrow, but if not, I so hope that you and that grandson will have a fabulous day. Bet that Daisy will be part of the mix.

Read a piece in the Telegraph yesterday where a lady had lost her beloved little terrier only to find that it had been rehomed to another family, completely heartbroken, do hope the new owners have some compassion and return little doggie to the lady.
