Blossomcottage's Avatar I am sorry to hear this but at least she is now out of pain. My thoughts to her dear little boys.

Faith's Avatar Poor girl - but somehow I knew she'd die on Mother's Day.

May Eternal Rest be granted to her.

Milkmaid's Avatar I also had that feeling too, we were saying at work that it sounded like she was fading fast and wondered if she would last the weekend. May her death save many others, thats the message we are trying to pass on to the girls at school, who seem to think that they are immortal and stuff like that only happens to old people

Camilla's Avatar Thank you for putting this post up Maud.

I awoke this morning to hear of the very sad news, this beautiful spring day that Jane Goody is no longer with us. My thoughts for her darling boys.

Inthemud's Avatar I, too, woke this morning to the news and my thoughts immediately went out to her 2 dear boys. They will probably have made cards for her ready for mother's day.

So very, very sad.

LittleBrownDog's Avatar So tragic for her little ones that she should pass away on Mothers' Day - not only will they have the anniversary to deal with every year, but it's going to be so hard for them to see all their friends choosing gifts and making Mothers' Day cards for their own mums each year.

Whatever one thinks about Jade and the way she came into the public eye, she has probably saved many, many lives by going public with her illness.

Exmoorjane's Avatar I echo LBD - says it all for me.

Mollygolver's Avatar Twenty seven is so young but she probably packed more living into her life than I've done in over half a century. may she find eternal rest.

So sad, may she rest in peace now.

Cait's Avatar Her suffering is over now, God bless her boys.

Very sad. The way she went public on this was her decision and, I think, a good one in that it has very much raised awareness. This is a preventable disease if caught early enough.
