LBD's Book???

Obviously I have missed this bit of useful information about your book LBD...couldn't tune into the SW channel last night either....

Have you written a book on allotments??
If so I think I'd rather like to get a copy!!

Can anyone enlighten me please?

Re:
LittleBrownDog's Avatar Oh, golly - so much attention, Embarassed EmbarassedEmbarassed. Tis really only a little book... Yes, yes, definitely do mail order, and special PC postage-inclusive price to boot! Laughing

Basically, it's to mark the 200th anniversary of the oldest allotments in the country, which happen to be in the village where I live. When I tried to find out the history, it turned out that nothing had been written about it in laymans terms, and I had to wade through some very worthy academic stuff to find out about them. Book is a short history of how the allotments came into being plus a month-by-month allotment gardening guide with seasonal tips and bits of history and folklore chucked in, followed by interviews with a cross section of current allotment holders.

Will try to put info about it up in the Marketplace so interested parties can follow up.

Thank you again!
