Cowart's Common Room
I CAN'T SLEEP CHAT POST

The weather has been gorgeous these past few days, I have always loved springtime.

I have just read the tragic news on the Telegraph website page that the beautiful actress Natasha Richardson has died, so very sad, and so young, my heart goes out to her husband and to children and family.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then come and have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Re:
Frances's Avatar Good evening, Camilla, and others who might still be awake.

Camilla, I so agree with you about being distressed that beautiful Natasha Richardson has died. I only ever saw her on stage once, in a London production of The Cherry Orchard, with her mum.

Oh. this is the kind of news that makes me count my blessings, wonder if I am using my unknown days left alive as I want to.

Wonder if anyone else has had a shock at this news?

(Know that I had to stay later at the shop than scheduled, to take care of some company v.i.p.'s. Nice folks, so that was fine. But need to have some deep sleep tonight, before an early wake up ... need to be back at the shop before 8 am.

Any farmers or farmers' wives out there might laugh at my early wake up concerns. xo

Re
Camilla's Avatar Good Evening Frances, thank you.

I was hoping that the actress was going to pull through, so terribly tragic. People are apparantly flocking to the skiing resort because of the heavy snowfall there, lots booked for the easter period too.

Frances - your last paragraph sprang in my mind about that chirpy cockrel that get's folk out of bed in the morning on country farms.

xx

Re:
Frances's Avatar Camilla, I do thank you for that comment.

Hello to Puffin!

Well, since I do have to get up very early (and fearing that thinking about what will be required to re-set and re-merchandise the shop tomorrow might keep me restless tonight) well, I will say nite, nite, and sweet dreams to to you all. xo

Re:
Puffin's Avatar Thank you Camilla for bringing me up to date on the tragic
death of the beautiful young actress.
She had everything to live for-You wonder why she was taken.
Bob thought she was near the end when all her family came.
There has been much on the news about her.
Bob said it could have happened to me when I took the bad fall on our drive way.
A neighbor had a young police[sheppard] dog and he was
untrained and one day ran down our drive way and so happy
to see me that
he knocked me flat on my back-making me strike my head .
I have nine lives,I guess,as I have had a few cross country
ski'ng too.At the trap family lodge on the ice.in Vt.
I was here earlier-read some forums and then sent a note to C.H.
Your cut flowers look like they have just come from your garden.
And the painting=lovely
My last P.M. to you had many 'White Outs'-being able to share
is tempting-some times I think one needs too.
Wonderful-our thoughts do not fall on deaf ears, but are met
with heartfelt compassion-
What a wonderful place this is.
Sweet dreams if We don't meet again to night.

The head is so precious, even a slight fall can be fatal, so glad you came out alright after your falls Puffin.

Thank you for your PM Puffin, this site is so amazing as you say, friends here are so kind in giving support, or to have a laught with, we are truly lucky to be here.

Puffin's Avatar La Mer by Charle Tre'net-Very fitting for to night-Oh !she is just across that beautiful sea-waiting for her loved ones.

I didn't remember that Ives Montand could sing.
Did you ever see 'Grand Prix' I think was the tytle- it was the
first wide screen I ever saw and when he died in the end-I cryed buckets. He played a famous race driver with I think
Ig.Bergman.
Somes times a homely man can be truely facinating-
The truely hansome love the face in the mirrow.,nes pas ??

Re:
Blackbird's Avatar I was so sorry to hear this news- I, too, was so hoping for better news. My prayers go out to her family, in particular, her young sons.

It does make you want to pull your loved ones close.
