Can someone please tell me when the clocks go forward? I thought it was tonight.

Many thanks, CJ xx

Re:
In the UK it's usually the last Sunday in March at 2a.m. and they go back at the same time on the last Sunday in October.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar But what I've always wanted to know is why is it they go back a month and a half before the shortest day but don't go forward again until three and a half months after the shortest day. Why the assymetry? By the time the clocks go forward again we hardly need them to go forward as the evenings are light anyway.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar But that doesn't explain the assymetry! If the end of October is OK in the fall then the corresponding spring date would be mid Feb. Instead we have to wait another six weeks until the end of March.

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar We seeme to have it twice on Easter Sunday and that was NOT funny because we had the Dawn Service here so it meant getting up very early anyway, and with the loss of an hour it made it worse. Evil or Very Mad
