Weather Report

I can't find Withy's weather posting in the forum but would just like to report that it hammered down with rain all day yesterday and most of the night, then it cleared the stars came out and then it hammered down with haily sleety stuff which is now lying deep and crisp, and there's more real snow forecast for later on.

Re:
Wizzard's Avatar It rained all day in Killin too, then at about 10pm it started with the fluffy stuff and now the sun is shining brightly on the snow covered hills.

Re:
Preseli Mags's Avatar We've got snow again on the Preselis. Just a thin covering of crunchy stuff.

Re:
CalicoKate's Avatar A little bit of snow here in the sheltered bits, but quite a lot on the hills, and when I left 'town', the metropolis that is Lochgilphead, at 9 last night there was a fair amount lying. Went to college in the rain came out to snow woke up to sunshine. Bizarre!

Re:
Ivy's Avatar eek really snow up yopur ways? Here the sun is out and the snowdrops in full bloom we have 8C and it really feels springlike but bad weather is forecast but not surprising schools break up for spring holidays on Friday so who ever decides against skiing (no slopes anywhere within the radius of 400 km) does have to sit inside due to bad weather. If the economic crisis will last government might reintroduce Easter holidays instead of skiing holidays for north Germany...

Re:
It looked very bright and sunny when I awoke this morning, Upon closer inspection it was in fact snowing!

Do not think it is anything to worry about though as has now stopped and been raining. Wet enough here though, for sure, our little village is most soggy.

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar Some rain yesterday afternoon. By bed time it was blowing a gale. Woke up to a very light covering of the white stuff, but the sun was, and still is, shining so most of it has gone. Cold though. Forcast is for cold until the weekend when it should improve.
