Cowart's Common Room
Mouse Update

Well Mr Mouse Man is not really a dilemma - more an unexpected pleasant surprise - Blossom said "he" would be out there somewhere - I thought perhaps a farm in Norfolk not a condo on the beach in Florida but hey ho..
For those who haven't come across me before, I was one of the initial purple people and had a very safe and sound country life on a farm in Suffolk - mowing lawns, having hot flushes in front of my Aga, being a Grandma, harvesting, ironing shirts - all sorts of domestic bliss and then I discover my husband of 25 years is having an affair........ so I have to sell the farm, move house, find a job, my father then dies suddenly and life changed radically for me in the space of 18 months or so.

Its amazing how us Purple folk adapt....and Frances would only be a 2 hour flight away for a bit of retail bliss...so I will keep you all posted.
As you can see.. I haven't had too much time to blog.

Re:
Arosebyanyothername's Avatar I never really got to know as you disappeared off the radar, so to speak, about the time I joined. Happy for you that you have found a silver lining and look forward to hearing more about your new life - wherever it is.

Re:
Frances's Avatar Hello Mousie!

What a delight to have all this updating from you, photos and all. What a sweet dilemma to have.

We know that you have already done lots of adapting ... mainly due to changes you did not seek. Would you not like to do some warm weather adapting that you really do choose?

Handsome man, who has recognized you for the gem we know you are. Do you want our help in vetting him? (I am joking!)

I would love to have you over on this side of the Atlantic!

Re:
KittyB's Avatar Mr Mouse Man is just lovely - and a condo on the beach and Mousie on a boat and everything - just too exciting. I KNEW you'd be kicking your heels up somewhere or other. Go for it Mousie - life not being a dress rehearsal etc, and regret being futile. You'll regret it if you don't, and if it doesn't work this time, then you'll have had fun trying!
Much love - and keep in touch, you are missed. xxx

SallysChateau's Avatar Mousie, go pop to your pm, my Mother and I have just sat and gazed at your photo from deepest Dorset, 'now she looks stunning' she said. 'You really think so' I replied Wink You have made me grin.

Re:
LittleBrownDog's Avatar Oooh, goodie - I log on and beans are being well and truly spilt! Wink. How lovely to see you, Mousie, and what a time you seem to be having. Will let you off the long spell of not posting just as long as you pop in every now and again and spill a few more beans.

V much like the look of the new Mr Mouse Wink. (Why is it whenever I go away the only strangers I seem to run into are ones that look and behave like Mr Bean Mad.)

Re:
Angel's Avatar It has often been said that someone 'up there' moves in mysterious ways-call it fate...serendipity...gods will...whatever...I always think that things have a habit of turning out alright in the end, even though it is hard to see it at the time.

You've had a tough hand over recent months my friend, far more than anyone as lovely as you should have to endure. Now make the most of the good times-grab them all, both hands, including that gorgeous man and "carpe dieme!"
It's 'Mousey Time!!'

best wishes to you (both)

xx
