Cowart's Common Room

Bless you all for your understanding ears, that never fail to listen to my whingeing.... great advice, I know in my heart now, that today was not the right day to scatter my darling's ashes.... the day will come, but it is a very special moment and should be spiritually spot on.. definitely not today....

Somehow, they didn't seem as bad this morning..... maybe it was me all over the place last night, as we had always done dinners for guests (as an extra) together - Richie entertaining and me cooking - it felt so awful having them there when it would normally have been so different. But they were pretty awful too, I don't think they should expect to re-arrange my fridge to accomodate their (excessive) food or use my kitchen to prepare their own meals. As dear Rosemary said, its not a Backpackers.

This morning it seemed better doing their breakfast, as I have always done these by myself - Richie being either out and about on the farm, or gone off to work. However she did send her scrambled eggs back - Please cook them some more, she doesn't like them soft.....

But they are gone for the day - booked on a boat trip which means they won't be back till 5 or hopefully later....

Last night it all just welled up, and I took a bottle of Frangelico out to the seat in the garden and literally howled at the moon with Josh & Ally the cat...... Then I saw the most amazing falling star.

Maybe their is something in what you say about it being something to do with Richie's wishes..... they come from Saskatchewan in Canada, which is where Richie lived for a year whilst on an Agricultural exchange in his twenties...

And yep, it will feel berlurdy MARVELLOUS when they its got to get better ...doesn't it?

I wish you a year of getting used to your new life. A year of loving Richie, but beginning to let him go. A year of working out your own future (financial situation etc) Sounds harsh? It is actually loviing and hoping that your life will find a new way. My prayers are still with you. God Bless. Withy.

Camilla's Avatar Dear Cowgirl - Sam,

I am wishing for you a year of kindness and peacefulness and wishing you too for all new things that will inspire you along the way.

I know when you have rested Richard in your garden under that tree that he will still be with you, looking over you for all eternity.

You are in my thoughts and prayers Sam, lots of love to you.

Dear Cowgirl
It was lovely to meet you tonight. Being new, I have gathered that there is sadness in your life, and I put you in my prayers last night. Hope that you start to feel better soon, but these things take time.
How did the boat ride go?
