Re:
Pondside's Avatar Very pleased for TP and for you, WW, but like others, I can only take him in small doses - like standing at the book counter and reading the cover blurb.........that's enough for me! (ducks and runs!!!)ArrowArrowArrowArrow

Re:
Fennie's Avatar I agree. Mr Pratchett - and indeed fantasists in general whether of the book or film variety have never for some reason appealed. No doubt I am challenged in requisite cranial department. But all good luck to him, for I admit he is very popular and you can't have too many books.

Re:
Bradan's Avatar He's done well I guess......but I only ever managed to read just one page of a book of his and that was more than enough for me!

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar Matron is here, a little late. I laughed when I heard, at midnight last night! Unfortunately I had turned off the computer by then. He well deserves his knighthood for his open-ness about Altzheimers and charitable work. Doesn't mean we have to like his books though Twisted Evil

Re:
Frances's Avatar Congrats to Mr P. Do you really recommend that I try one of his books? Which one would be the first that you would want me to try?
