Cowart's Common Room
Celtic Heart

As Milla our headgirl is 'away' on her hols I am putting up the welcome post for our newest member.

A very warm welcome to Celtic Heart . . . she has put up a bit about herself in the New Members Forum.

Thank you for joining us Celtic heart - I won't say anything about how mad this bunch are, or how they won't keep their vests tucked in, but I will say that there are a lot of people who share your hobbies and interests and I think you will fit right in. This is the place where you can have a good laugh, or find all kinds of advice on a huge variety of subjects and if you need support and even a hug then we have plenty of that as well.

Look forward to meeting you on the site.

Thanks for the lovely welcome! I have one request and one question. Request, please be patient as I figure out the techno stuff. I am the self confessed Techno-dullard of my village! Often spend time in the stocks! Question. Please Miss, what is a vest?

Mountainear's Avatar Hello CH and welcome.

Vests are a good idea in this cold weather - here on top of my mountain in Powys the wind is cutting. Brr. Mine is tucked in (as it should be at all times - except when the Headmistress permits...)

Camilla's Avatar Hello again Celtic Heart, a huge welcome to you.

It took me a while to sort out techni stuff, I am the world's worst but don't worry, you'll be fine and lots of help given on the FORUMS site where you can get SUPPORT, everyone here is sooo helpful and a wonderful bunch of friends here, I'd be lost without them.

As to VESTS, our darling Headmistress Westerwitch likes us to have some fun, so if we have not done our homework or it is a tad cold outside, then it is definately VESTS for us.!Smile

Have Fun.!

er, I think I'd better come clean! I don't actually own a vest! If it gets that cold (and I mean cold I will get out the old performance thermals, but it has to be well cold before I do that. Don't tell Headmistress Westerwitch, please!

Mountainear, my Dad used to be a gamekeeper at Powys Castle. Long time ago, before the NT took it over.

Frances's Avatar Not to worry. Over here in the States we don't even use the word. Headmistress know this, and she wisely accommodates our differences.

Still, as the weather gets cold, I will layer up with all I can find.

Powys Castle, wow! You must know a few stories. I cannot wait to read the blogs that you will write.
