Faith's Avatar That was nice of her and it looks super. I have never iced a cake before, but Hub3 and I made one together as I thought it would be a christmassy thing to do. It turned out very well and I have marzipaned it and we prob won't ice it till Christmas eve.

She's made a great job of it. I tried to make some icing poinsettia's (can never spell that properly!), and they look like haemorrhaging amoeba crawling across the cake....horrible!!

Next year I'll get someone else to do mine!

Lampworkbeader's Avatar When you are 9 you have the confidence to do anything. Mind you, I am not so sure I will actually eat icing with all that red colouring

Camilla's Avatar Ah, that's lovely LWB. Reminds me of when I was small and I always got to put the festive ribbon around the cake and place the little Christmasy figures on top of iced cake.
