Cowart's Common Room
Greetings from the pretentious fox

This has to be my favourite decoration this year - Santa riding the 'pretentious' stuffed vixen; who is carrying a bunch of misletoe in the hope of finding a handsome dog fox. Slightly off-plan, but festive in an eccentric sort of way.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Amazing. Tally-ho! But why is the vixen pretentious? I though foxes weren't pretentious one little bit. Unlike Baldrick they all really do have cunning plans

TIGGYWINKLE's Avatar What a conversation piece, Kitty. I love funky original ideas. This wins first prize. I think it's great.

Pondside's Avatar Well Kitty, having never met you, but knowing what I do about your taste in shoes and other Very Important Matters pertaining to the tasteful life - if you say the vixen is pretentious, then I will accept it as so. I must, however, say that it is the most original decoration I've seen this year and not a jot less than I'd have expected from you!

Re:
Faith's Avatar Ah that's fun Kitty. I wonder if our fox would like some mistletoe in its mouth.... but then the badger would feel left out so I'd have to give it some too!

Re:
I love her! Very seasonal.

I have not seen any foxes lately, well only a young one in the far back of the fields from afar, but loved watching them in winter when I lived in London. Typical that now that I live in the middle of nowhere surounded by countryside I see none of them. In winter the dog foxes are always so well turned out looking for a lady. And of course London foxes can be very fat and fine looking due to all the food people waste in cities. Foxes round here are quite stern in contrast!

Re:
KittyB's Avatar Glad she's met with approval, she's pretentious as my big sis, Trixie's Ma, declared stuffed foxes to be pretentious when I first got her. But she was a bargain from the auction house - nobody else wanted her, so really she's a re-homed orphan.

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar Aw a re-homed orphan - how could you not love her . . . and she is celebrating Xmas with you.
