Cowart's Common Room
I CAN'T SLEEP CHAT POST

Ooops....... fell asleep on the sofa. Grandchildren are staying for a sleepover, they arrived early afternoon and we have been playing lots of board games, watched a few films, especially like the Wallace & Gromit ones.

My Aunt only one left I have, rang me from London mid-evening, and we were on the phone for almost an hour, crikey..... my Granddaughter said to me........ "Grandma, you could talk for England"Smile ah, bless.

Off to make a last cuppa and soon to hop into land of dreams.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Re:
TIGGYWINKLE's Avatar Hi Camilla, Sounds like you had a lovely evening. I adore having Muffin stay over every Wednesday. Wish my little grandsons weren't so far away in Australia. I got a lot done in the last two days. Had great fun at my Tennis Lunch. Food was delicious. All homemade by the members.

Re:
Frances's Avatar Hello Camilla and Tiggy,

Camilla, talking for England sounds pretty good to me! Let that granddaughter start her training with you.

Tiggy your tennis luncheon must have been fun! Bet that there were lots of delicious dishes "served."

Sorry if my post was a bit lacklustre. Wish that I could just pass both of you some the cookies that coming out of the oven just now.

Guess that today was one of those days when I wondered if the energy that I was expending was towards any purpose. Hoping that I get up tomorrow with a more positive outlook.

Tomorrow will be the shortest day of the year, and that might explain my attitude. xo

Re:

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Hello Frances and Tiggy,

Tiggy - thank you. Yes I love having my Grandchildren stop over, but they are soo excitable and full of beans, can be quite exhausting, must be my age, but I would not have them any other way, the darlings.Smile

Little Muffin I am sure looks forward to seeing her lovely Tiggy Grandma, and she will be even more so when she opens her stocking on Christmas morning to find sweet Bunny and Teddy.

Glad to know the Tennis Lunch went well Tiggy.

Frances - Thank you. It is funny though, my Granddaughter is a little chatterbox and always so inquisitive as to know why this or that . She hopes to have a career as a ZooOlogist, she has a fond interest in animals.

Your post was not lacklustre at all Frances, I love it. Oooh, yes please Frances, can't pass by when it comes to cookies.

My son-in-law only mentioned today about this time of the year when everyone he said seems to be worried about getting everything done in time, I think his visit to the shops today which were bulging apparently completely scared him, know that not all men love shopping.

Hoping that you may hop into that bed of dreams soon Frances so that you can have a good night's sleep, and hoping that you may feel more refreshed by morning, you work so hard I am not surprised you feel out of focus dear Frances.

xx

Re:
TIGGYWINKLE's Avatar Nightie night Cammila. So glad to see Sam on line. Bless her heart, and her courage. Glad you like Bunny and Ted. We will have to set a time to check in here. Mr. T is going mad about me staying up so late, but the B&B is closed for Dec & Jan, so this is a kind of holiday for me. Won't be staying up sol ate when we re-open!

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Nighty Night Tiggy,

Sam has immense courage, my love and prayers are with her.

I do try and get onto Purple earlier, but then nearly always fall asleep before hand, a sort of nap. My husband always goes to bed very early, around 8/9pm so then I usually try and catch up with reading, letters, making lists of things that I need to do. My friend owns a holiday cottage nearby she has no more bookings until 19th January, so we may book the first week after New Year.

We shall miss your company late into the night Tiggy when your B&B reopens.

xx
