Cowart's Common Room
Show and Tell Reminder

Stop groaning - tomorrow it is time to hand in your Xmas Show and Tell Homework - I am sure we are looking forward to seeing each others Xmas pictures.

Also tomorrow evening from 7.00pm we will be having a sherry and mince pie get together in the Common Room - I hope you haven't forgotten and I hope you can make it. Taps foot . . .

Vests may be untucked for tomorrow evening.

Mootia's Avatar Oh Heck! There isn't a bauble up in this house yet - nor the Xmas tree, so will have to pass I'm afraid. Putting my lack of Xmas planning down to a pressing deadline and an enlarging 'bump'...but I look forward to seeing everyone elses efforts - perhaps they will get me in the mood! Wink

LittleBrownDog's Avatar Another one here with no baubles, Mootia Confused. Mind you, I don't have your excuse...Wink

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar Actually no baubles here either - they are going up in the next couple of days - it can be a picture that reminds you of Xmas if you don't have your decorations up yet.

Re:
KittyB's Avatar Tomorrow is the staff dinner and party so I won't be around, sorry Miss. I will be thinking of you all though as I sit excruciatingly embarrassed by yet more dire speeches from the Two Who Think They're Funny. Maybe I'll put my back out again like I did two years ago...

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar As we are away for Christmas this year, I have just spread the Christmas cards around a plant on a wall of the Conservatory and an Abutilon that is free standing. Will try to post this evening, as out all morning tomorrow, then cooking and other chores, then G's elder daughter, husband and two daughters aged 14 and 12 are coming to dinner, early, as they are off to somewhere warm on Friday morning. I just might be able to look in on the party rather late. I hope so.

Re:
Salle de Bain's Avatar I haven't any decorations up yet...
I've been trying to source 'fencecrete' all week so that I can set my gold sprayed ivy branch in a pot and bedeck it with UPL's lovely decorations. I wanted it ready for the show and tell...aaaaggghhhhh!!!!!

Re:
Exmoorjane's Avatar Baubles present and correct chez Bonkers House. Tree is up and suitably gaudy. Lights are twinkling. Asbo is garnished with ribbon and teatowel. No greenery yet though.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Thank you Westerwitch,

We have an old friend/neighbour coming to dinner before he fly's off abroad for festive period soon, so will probably be tucking into lots of food and wine then, but I hope to join you in CR later, don't want to miss those yummy mince pies and a glass of the ol sherry.
