Cowart's Common Room
It snowed

Berlimey the weather men got it right this time . . . it snowed . . . in the nine and a half years that we have lived here I have never known us to have so much 'proper' snow so early.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar Ahhh. Be afraid! There will come a time when the snow will fall earlier and earlier and melt later and later and the harvest will get smaller and smaller until the snows begin to fall, not on the pristine grass, but on the grey remains of last year's snow - and then we shall long for global warming. Anyway no sign of snow here.

Re:
Preseli Mags's Avatar Your proper snow looks absolutely lovely. So deep!

Rosie asked weeks ago if she would have snow on her birthday (today), I explained that we only usually get snow on Hannah's birthday in February.

It snowed yesterday (about half an inch of slush) and there's still a bit lying around today. So we have one very happy little girl who thinks it snowed because she's five. Bless.
