Cowart's Common Room
Gorgeous weather

Here is the scene I had to put up with whilst out walking the dogs yesterday afternoon - ghastly isn't it.

Only joking of course - we have had the most beautiful winter weather the last couple of days and the walk home yesterday afternoon was breathtaking - how lucky am I.

Re:
Preseli Mags's Avatar We hardly ever get frosts or snow here - but this morning we woke up to a good inch of the white stuff and yesterday had the prettiest frost I've seen in years. Not quite as spectacular as yours, WW, but not bad!

Re:
Salle de Bain's Avatar That is spectacular...what's the range of hills/mountains called?

The Cooleys have been lost in the clouds for the last few days here...no snow yet.

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar it is mainly looking North East at Ben Lawers at the base of which is Loch Tay and this end is the village of Killin. The sky was pretty spectacular all round . . .

Re:
Exmoorjane's Avatar very lovely. We;'ve been having amazing sunsets - just wildly vibrant reds and oranges..... Big frost this morning but no snow (though it was mighty cold yesterday on the r ugby pitch - or should I say, at the side of the rugby pitch - no, I'm not quite mad enough to play the darn game!).

Re:
Frances's Avatar Lovely sky, and sooo much of it, without any skyscraping buildings breaking up its beauty.

PM, your frosty flowers are beauties, too. I don't think we have yet had any overnight frosts, but must be coming soon to our neighborhood.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar That's almost a Turner sky. Wonderfully beautiful. Here the light is opaque, sludgy, though this morning was fine and in the translucent air you could see the blades turning on the turbines on the Castell y Mynedd hilltop ten miles away.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Great Photo Westerwitch, love the vast sky, the snow does seem to have arrived early this year here too WW.

Pretty picture PM, I love the snow, we had 5 inches last weekend, and we are set to have more this week.
