How does one

reply to comments on blogs???Question
Does one leave a message underneath in the hopes that the orignal postee revisits?Confused
The lovely Jane at Snapdragon Garden always reply to me but I don't know if it is just coz she is nice and sends an email or if that is what happens when you use Typepad.
What does anyone else do? I don't like leaving comments unanswered!Crying or Very sad

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar If you set your comments you can get 'it' to email you comments. I reply on the person's blog if asked a question. However other bloggers reply to people on their own blog and it is up to the person asking the question to go and look at the blog they put the question on in the first place for the answer.

I hope that makes sense - unless of course I am still invisible . . . Rolling Eyes

Re:
Milla's Avatar yes, I always go to the other person's blog, seems a bit presumptuous to expect them to come back to yours in search of an answer. Mind you lots of people do do the responding on their own blog thing and I suppose one upshot of that is that if someone asks a question, at least future commenters get to see the response.

Re:
Tattie Weasle's Avatar I try to get back to everyone's blog in turn then get in a muddle about answering a question there - so perhaps answerintg a question about your blog should be on your comments bit and being polite means you vist theirsConfused
Is there a nettiquette on these sort of things???

Re:
Milla's Avatar Being frightfully frightfully, I always try to visit (and leave a precious comment!) on the blogs of those who have visited me. Seems the right thing to do.
