Cowart's Common Room
Arvon Foundation

I hope some of you managed to catch this Radio 4 programme this morning I got in the car part of the way through it. A fascinating insight into the Foundations history, development and unique quality. I hope the link worka - if not go to the BBC site and you should be able to 'listen again'.

One of those wonderful Radio 4 programmes where you have to keep driving just to hear all of it.

LittleBrownDog's Avatar I did hear it and it made me want to go Mad. They mentioned that lovely place in Shropshire that I seem to remember you visited with Bodran - wanted to go then, too. It sounds wonderful. One day...

Camilla's Avatar Thanks for the link Mountainear, I missed this, Radio4 is a favourite programme of mine, son fitted a new purple radio a few weeks ago, was going fine until he somehow managed to mix up all the stations on radio, Radio4 kept cutting out.

Cait's Avatar I missed this too, would love to go there. I have a book out of the library on creative writing - all Arvon exercises etc, it seems really good but I haven't had time to look at it properly yet. I will let you know what I think.
