Cowart's Common Room
Christmas pet portraits?

Caution proud aunty approaching...A bit of blatant promotion here for my young niece who recently graduated from Kingston. She really is a very talented young artist, specializes in portraits and is particularly good with animals so, knowing what animal fans the PCers are, I thought I’d show you a couple of pieces of her work.

Her prices are very low, I think they start at 20 pounds sterling for an A5 acrylic pet portrait and proud aunty here thinks they would make excellent Christmas presents. She works from photographs and so geography is no problem! Please do contact her via email if you are interested or if you prefer pm or email me...Milla I am sure you’d especially love a doggy painting for Christmas wouldn’t you?

Preseli Mags's Avatar They are fabulous. (I love the background colour behind the bird, so beautiful).
Can we store the contact information with the other presents ideas? I can see it being very useful in the future.

Camilla's Avatar Thank you Un Peu,

Another talented family member to show us beautiful creations.

What gorgeous artwork, I agree with PM, would be wonderful if we could have these portraits put on the Purplecoo Market Place for all to see.

Best of luck to your Niece for the future, so much expression in those beautfiul paintings.

Exmoorjane's Avatar Very lovely. Don't forget too, that our own wonderful Blossom is a dab hand with the brush and paints some fabulous animal portraits (Asbo's is far more flattering than he deserves!).

Unpeuloufoque's Avatar Didnt like to post this on market place as my neice is not a member nor was I trying to overshadow others, such as Blossoms amazing work of whom I am a great fan, or of course anyone elses stuff..hence put it up here as a mention.. Oh dear !

Grouse's Avatar Well I'm so glad you did- they are beautiful (and nobody will think so more than Blossom- she's just a sucker for dog paintings!!) Must think about getting Smallest dog painted for the Husband...............

Exmoorjane's Avatar Eh? Is this in response to my comment? I said they were lovely (which indeed they are) but also wanted to remind people about Blossom - who is well-known for hiding her considerable talent under a bushel. It just seemed appropriate given the subject was animal paintings.... but my mistake maybe?

Frances's Avatar Think that your niece has got a great eye and a skilled and sensitive hand with the brush. She will do well!

You are a dear auntie to praise her.
