Cowart's Common Room
If you cannot sleep ...

[/img]

Good evening from New York,

Yes, it is Saturday night in New York, and much later than that in many parts of our coo neighborhood. I know that Camilla will be along soon, and have taken the liberty of putting up the post.

We hope that if you cannot sleep and would like to log on and stay a while with us on the owl perch, you will know that the welcome branch is extended.

Re:
Pondside's Avatar A glamorous sidewalk, if it is a New York walk!
I had my hair cut today, and my hairdresser is just back from a week in the Big Apple. She has a stiff neck from craning to look at the tall buildings - loved every minute of it. I'd love to make the same trip - maybe convince The Great DaneVery Happy

Re:
Frances's Avatar Hello Pondside, please do convince the Great Dane, and I will show you where this walkway is located. It's in the beautiful part of Central Park called the Shakespeare Garden. Lots of winding slate walkways climbing gently up a hill. All sorts of beautiful plants, trees, shrubs ... very inviting all year long.

Again, let me say how adorable your grandson was in his costume ... and in his getaway photo!

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Frances - thank you soo much for putting up the owl post, so kind of you.

I would love to take that walk in Central Park and visit you and to see The Shakespeare Garden.

Sorry to have missed you and Pondside. We had a lovely birthday celebration for my son this evening at local restaurant, good food, good wine, and good company, what could be better.

Arrived home quite late and celebraton continued well into the early hours of this morning.

I shall be here for a while longer, just going to take a tour of the site before I hop into that bed of dreams.

Re:
Bayou's Avatar We should really think of a trip to NY and make a PCmeeting over there. More or less equal distances for anybody and we meet then in the middle Laughing
