Fennie's Avatar I'll be there. Will they include pouting, too?

Posted by: Fennie on 26th Apr 2008 at 09:47AM

Westerwitch's Avatar Oh yes correct pouting is an important part of flouncing - but MUST be done at exactly the right moment or it gets missed.

Mountainear's Avatar Can someone advise on the exact method of stamping ones foot with just the right amount of petulance. I just can't get it right.

Elizabethd's Avatar Does it include deep sighing and mutterings under breath?

Posted by: Elizabethd on 26th Apr 2008 at 01:12PM

Westerwitch's Avatar Yes lots of sighing ands muttering and pointed looks . . .and also plenty of Rolling Eyes done with extra feeling.

This course is certificated, but the standard is high.

Elizabethd's Avatar Is it a free course? These high level NVQ ones are often very expensive. Could we pay in instalments??
Swishes out , muttering and giving dark looks. And pouting too.

Posted by: Elizabethd on 26th Apr 2008 at 01:26PM

Westerwitch's Avatar Of course it is free - it will now be part of the skool curriculum.

Excellent dark looks by the way ED - but the pouting lacked conviction - you have to really FEEL that pout. Loved the swishing, but don't overdo it . . .muttering needs a little more menace . . .but overall very good.

Unpeuloufoque's Avatar Oh I am so glad that flouncing lessosn are beign introduced I do feel them vital to a gels education. Now tell me is there goign to be a session on head tossing ( as in throwing ones hair back in disdain not tossing nes enemies heads, I think we covered the latter in lacrosse last term already), only I must ask that if so we need warning as I wear large earrings and last time I attempted to head tos I almost took Jacko'e eye I shall need to go out and buy some small studs in case..whcih I suppsoe alas takes us back to Firemen ...

Posted by: Unpeuloufoque on 26th Apr 2008 at 01:47PM

Westerwitch's Avatar Un Peu if done correctly you will be able to toss your head with passionate disdain and your earrings will barely move move.

As for enemies heads - the incident in lacrosse last year was very unfortunate and not our gels fault at all . . . Sniffs.

Oh and disdainful sniffing - in a ladylike fashion will also be covered.

Pondside's Avatar I have five or six feather boas that I'll bring along - left over from a Hallowe'en party. I find that there's nothing like a boa or some sort of swishy cape to add verve to a good flounce!

Posted by: Pondside on 26th Apr 2008 at 03:27PM

SallysChateau's Avatar Fantastic idea, see how much we all have in common, will there be drinks served afterwards though ? Rolling Eyes

Posted by: SallysChateau on 26th Apr 2008 at 04:13PM

Glass of champagne in hand, a toss of the head and I'll be there dahlings...........

Posted by: @themill on 26th Apr 2008 at 04:20PM

Preseli Mags's Avatar I'll be there! I'm rubbish at flouncing, but I am Olympic standard at sulking and can SLAM extremely well too.....

Posted by: Preseli Mags on 26th Apr 2008 at 04:38PM

oooohh I love a good flounce! I can't wait to learn the head tossing thing, but only have short hair - is that a disadvantage? Would like to state firmly now that the head tossing at the lacross was nothing at all to do with me ... really it wasn't...Embarassed

Posted by: HimalayanBlue on 26th Apr 2008 at 05:38PM

Milla's Avatar Yikes when and where was I flouncing?!?!Embarassed And how COULD I have failed at it, do such a good flounce. And door slams.

Posted by: Milla on 26th Apr 2008 at 06:42PM

Westerwitch's Avatar Yes good door slam Milla - but needs a tad more finesse.

Posted by: Westerwitch on 26th Apr 2008 at 07:49PM

Snailbeachshepherdess's Avatar nothing like a good flounce is there? I do miss long hair a flounce and swish of hair as the door slams....wonderful....I'll be there ...have to have hair xtensions I reckonLaughing
