Cowart's Common Room

Dear Westerwitch,

Know that you are having a worrying time at the moment, with your darling Sheep Pebbles and Bam Bam not well, I hope and pray they make a full recovery, so upseting when animals are ill.

Wishing you too Westerwitch to be feeling much better and free from the horrid pain you are experiencing, sending you all my love and hugs, and hugs to Pebbles and Bam Bam too.

Love and Hugs,

Westerwitch's Avatar Thank you Camilla - much appreciated. I have just been up to the sheep . . in the pouring rain - poor things it is raining, but at least it isn't cold.

Pebbles now seems to be eating more, but Bam Bam refused his feed again - although I have seen him nibbling grass - hopefully he will be eating by tomorrow.

The vet said if they don't eat then their chances of recovery are reduced as they don't have the strength to get over the illness.

So still really worried and I didn't sleep very well either - I kept going over and over how on earth we catch them up if they need further injections. Plus Sassy pooed in the house last night and again in the early hours of the morning - not like her - so was worried that she was ill . . .but she does seem ok today.

Gawd sorry - you give me a hug and I go all whiny and moany.

Faith's Avatar Hugs WW - poor Bam Bam.

About Sassy - could she be picking up your vibes. The last time I was ill - and I'm not ill very often - Yorkie pooed right in the middle of the sitting room carpet.

Milla's Avatar oh lawks, had hoped that today would be better than yesterday.
Chops looks very nifty, as if has pulled up his / her / its skirts and is about to do a careful dance.
We call T11 Chops, one of his many nicknames, I must show him his twin.

Preseli Mags's Avatar Chops nearly was chops. And a couple of roasts, and some mince. But he put his head on my shoulder and sort of nuzzled. I think he's a sheep with brains, or, in other words, a rare breed. I'm a big softy, me. Laughing

Milla's Avatar Have to add, that I am NOT hugging sheep, Camilla.
V funny, PM, brains = a rare breed.

Suffolkmum's Avatar Yes I agree Chops loks very dainty. Thinking of you WW - hope the roses come out soon, both in reality and metaphoically.

I hope Bam Bam recovers soon, fingers crossed. Is Sassy a sensitive sort, would she have picked up that you are stressed at the moment?

Camilla's Avatar As Faith and Fern have said, wonder if Sassy could be sensitive and knows that you are anxious at the moment about your darling Sheep.?
