Re:
Pondside's Avatar Big sympathy Muddy!
I, on the other hand, am having a wonderful morning!! Still in jammies, sipping tea, reading blogs and generally lounging around the hotel because I can't get into the insitution-of-the-day due to a riot. (not as in 'a lot of fun' but as in 'pick up the tables and hurl them at staff).

Re:
Pondside's Avatar Yes, UPL, it took some doing - but I really needed some time off. Must hit the shower now and try to attain some appearance of professionalism - can't wear jammies to work. Some people have no sense of humour about such things - their loss.
Don't you dare complain about your curly hair - mine is as straight as a horses tail and just about as interesting. The whole time we were in South America my hair got more and more limp and my friend Anne's got bigger and curlier. At night we'd go out for dinner - me with a flat, boring and definitly non-festive hairdo, and Anne with a riot of red curls caught up in a comb - looking like she'd been to a salon. I have destroyed those photos. Do you know how big a nose looks when one's hair is flat. I just know that if I had big hair my nose would look pert.

Re:
Mountainear's Avatar Better luck tomorrow all round. I've spent the day stuck indoors at a WI meeting - by default rather than choice.

Best bit was the after lunch talk by a hunky young TV vet and the worst was knowing that outside the wind had swung round to the south and had brought the most fantastic spring day. which i was missing. Grrr.

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar Eeeeek Muddyboots you are not alone in having a bad day - if there is any comfort in that.

Oh I would LOVE to have long red curly hair . . . Almost 8.00 now and only just finished cleaning Cesspit . . .fit to drop . . .as long as I have enough strength to open a bottle . . .

Re:
Exmoorjane's Avatar I want curly hair too.....always have. Had perm once when young which went horribly wrong (so NOT pre-Raphaelite). So sorry yet another bad day going on.
re natural hair washing, I never wash James' hair - never have (started cos as a baby he was allergic to everything). It's fine, gorgeous and glossy - though he does get dunked in a swimming pool once a week (but no shampoo, not never). I tried it myself but was truly disgusting... (we need a YUK icon too).

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Oh poor you, it's amazing what our little canine friends decide to roll in, the smellier the better, then they decide to jump all over you, Daisy Boo does just the same.

xx
