Wordy WW

WW, have noticed in forums that you are on posting number 997 - do hope I'm around to witness you tip over the big one thousand. Wise words all, I have no doubt, although heavy on the influence of chainsaw.

Re:
Faith's Avatar Well I remember the Cyril Lord carpet ad - luxury you can afford, buy Cyril Lord! And showed lots of pairs of shoes going from baby ones upwards to show the carpets lasted for years.

Re:
Milla's Avatar God, I can't tell you how glad I am in retrospect to have been too, er, ill to stumble on. The amount of red-faced damage control I'd have had to get up to today doesn't bear thinking about. That terrible moment when it dawns on you that You Were Drunk and ... that the Computer Was On. Gulp. Makes the Sent Box in my e-mail a very nasty place to visit the next day. A kind thought, though Sally, although really of course I'm not talking to you because I want to know all these secrets!!! Grr
