Re:
Unpeuloufoque's Avatar Ok would it be too politically incorrect to say I suggest they are not bathing but have turned into butter for pancakes ( of course all of them except the heads) a comment which if you were brought up in the years after the tales of Little Black sambo were banned will mean nothing to you!!

Re:
Faith's Avatar PS Put L. B. Sambo into Ebay search. Someone's selling it and Little Black Mingo - don't know that one - for 500. Mine not worth that much, it's only a 70's copy.

Re:
Faith's Avatar PPS There is a book called Sam and the Tigers (Abe books) which is apparently a retelling of L B Sambo.
Now here is a question, would you be happy reading the original book to your little ones? or not?

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar I have two little baby dolls - they are twins - one black and one white - I have often wondered if they are worth anything. Couldn't find anything like them on Ebay.

Re:
Pondside's Avatar I loved that book too - a more innocent time, indeed.
If that is a hot tub - I'll wait and use the sauna for now!
