Cowart's Common Room
Shift and Click

I'm sure you all know this, but if you click on a link (like WW's to Pukka Pads in the secret reading post below) and press the shift key at the same time, it opens the new link as a separate page and keeps the old one, say purplecoo, alive, too. What's good about this is not losing the old one and sometimes the new link doesn't behave (Pukka Pads froze for me...) or in blogs, my machine tends to get in a terrible whirl if I try to go backwards taking me through ghastly security check things - this is on comments, which always triggers a maddening "security information" thing and sometimes you get trapped going round and round in circles. Anyway, all I mean is, shift and click is much better. Here endeth, etc.

KittyB's Avatar Clever, Milla. Just tried it, works a treat. This is what I need. Idiots guide type stuff. Keep em coming. But not all at once or I'll forget.

Exmoorjane's Avatar Thought it was some new product.....mispelt, as in Sniff and Click.... But sounds scurries off to find Pukka Pads which sound deeply dodgy (do they have 'wings' I wonder?) Indian sanitary 'napkins' perhaps?

Milla's Avatar I'm sure that a man (Edward? Jacko?) would have put it more clearly, but glad you all know what I mean.
And Jane, misspelt, per-lease! Talking of which, here is the list of most commonly misspelt (er, not including, Jane, misspelt, ho ho): misspelt words
