Cowart's Common Room
Kilmeedy Lodge Animal Sanctuary

All lambs doing well. 5 have been re-homed, and I now have another 3 which are doing well. One died and one we put to sleep because she had no hope - brain damaged.

On top of that, we have 5 lambs of our own which are with their mothers, and 4 more ewes to lamb.

* * * * *

On top of ALL this, we are trying to get the new shop ready to open, and run the present shop (with our business partners of course), AND do the website.

* * * * *

On top of all THIS, we are trying to make enough jewellery to fill the shops and website!!!!

So we are a little bit busy. Aaaaarghhh......

* * * * *

And how are you my lovelies?

* * * * *

Oh, bye the way, that chicken who had the swollen cheek, is still perfect, so 'rock on' Colloidal Silver!

I must look you up ...... sounds very dedicated. Best of luck with the lambs. On my daily keep fit (?!) walk I pass a field where there is a lame ewe and I always feel so sorry for her, but she has 2 lambs and they all get around well together.

The lame ewe probably has footrot. Is the farmer a good one? If si, tell him.

Westerwitch's Avatar Yes agree with the foot rot - the most common cause of lameness in sheep. A good farmer will want to know that there is a problem.

Thank you for the up-date Sue.

I would say don't over do it and tuck in that vest . . . but breathe and waste spring to mind. Busy time for you.

Camilla's Avatar Hi Sue,

So sorry that darling Lambs were poorly and did not come through., but pleased that all others are doing well and that little chicken is pulling through alright.

Heck, you are busy Sue... dont do too much and wear yourself out. Best of luck with the new shop and website.
