Cowart's Common Room
to INTHEMUD

Hi, InTheMud: for some reason, my machine / the purplecoo machinery won't let me do a PM to you; but my comment to PeterW (as Kitty's too had alluded) was to do with Peter doing a take on Katie Melua's song, "There are 9 million bicycles in Beijing ... and that's a fact ..." (not sure if that's the title, but that's the riff, as it were) and that his whole Where I Live is a re-write - most clever and all that - of that song. Hope that's cleared up MY comment on his!

Re:
Milla's Avatar er, by which I mean Peterwf, not PeterW. Sorry! Sorry! And does this mean Peter Wolf ...!!! Hard to build up a picture of someone since you don't comment on ours, just leave your own blogs etc. Am sure you know what I mean. All the best

Re:
Peterwf's Avatar Ah! the seven veils of internet anonymity.

It does seem a little off if I have not commented on your writings.

I must try harder.

Re:
Faith's Avatar I always think of Peter as Peter Wolf too Milla. Whereas he could of course just be Peter W. F....... (surname beginning with F)

Re:
Milla's Avatar no no no !!!
am in vile mood and slow to pick up on things, and have just realised that in the mud was commenting on me being confused as if that is hard to understand, whereas I spend my life in a spiral of either confusion or ill-justified certainty. Certainly have never been more bad-tempered in my life than this past few days, but enough already. All I meant was , oh I don;t know, one tries to patchwork together personalities, and for me, you knowing a KM song was SO (yup, American accent has to be there) unexpected!! Please feel no need to follow my scrawls, they are cross and flippant and pointless and trivial. All the best, etc. xcx

Re:
Milla's Avatar sorry, Faith, my no no no referred to PWF professing a need to reciprocate, not to you thinking, as I had, about PeterWolf... aargh., the crossing of thoughts xxx

Re:
Peterwf's Avatar Just call me Peter or Pete the rest (plus the missing surname letter) is only of interest to the government.

The "W" is not for Walter either, he is just an alto ego.Cool
