Isn't it fabulous, and as you say, impossible to do justice to in a photograph, the petals are irridescent.

feed it til the leaves die down, and then allow it to go dormant. It may well flower again this summer and will be happy to stay in the garden so long as it stays above 5 degrees C. You can con it into flower again for Xmas by putting in the veg box bit of the fridge for about 12 week, and then repotting it around late November.

Mine are all sitting in a cold green house; they will flower again in the summer, and I'll leave them in the garden til it gets too chilly
