Cowart's Common Room
Autism Speaks

I thought you might be interested to hear that Autism Speaks is staging a second walk at Alwick Garden on Sunday 4th May. Sadly, I shall be away, so not able to take part.
Family and friends can walk as individually or make up a team. Children and adults with autism are especially welcome to come along to have fun and enjoy the games or entertainment along the route (wyich is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs).Explore this enchanting landscape, parts of which are not routinely open to the public; dip in and out of the jets of water in the Serpent Garden and help Utism Speaks raise money for research into a neurological condition wihch affects 1 in 100 school-age children.
Registration from 10.00 to noon. Taking part is easy: you can register online at]Autism Speaks[/url] and set up your online fundraising page at Just Giving

Withy Brook's Avatar autismspeaks is the right url but didn't come up properly, so you would have to copy it. Seemed to be more successful with Just giving!

Crystal Jigsaw's Avatar Thanks Withy. I did the walk last year and raised £280 from sponsors. I am unable to do it this year though. However, I am sending a donation. It is a fantastic charity. Very close to my heart.
