Cowart's Common Room
UPDATE - class starting late

I emailed my Pilates teacher about a week after the last late starting class. I kept forgetting and didnt know what to say... but forced myself to do it. This was her reply which I got recently:

Sorry for my delay in getting back to you, I was away on holidays until
today. Thanks very much for your email, I always appreciate your
feedback
whether you think it's small or not. You are right, the classes should
start bang on time. Sometimes it doesn't happen, particularly at the
end of
the term when there is a lot of administrative work for sorting the
next
term. But I take your feedback very seriously and will focus on fixing
this
in the new term. In addition, just to make sure that you haven't
missed
out, I would like to offer you an extra session during the next term t make
up for the accumulated missed minutes of the last term. So just let me
know
when you would like to come for an extra session and I'll book you in.

I hope you had a lovely holiday and thanks again for the feedback, it's
important to receive it. I really enjoy having you in class and am
glad you
continue to enjoy Pilates.

Warmest regards

****

Obviously I am pleased with this response!

Re:
Cait's Avatar See, it always pays to get things out in the open rather than moaning away quietly to each other doesn't it? People should compain more and give praise more too when it is called for.

Re:
Exmoorjane's Avatar Fabulous. A wonderful lesson in the power of sticking up for our rights - of not always being 'yes' people. What a lovely response - and rightly so. You must be well chuffed. Great work, Faith! Jxxx

Re:
Frances's Avatar Hello Faith, from shop manager in New York.

I think that your message was well written and definitely got your point across to someone who has ears open to receiving such a message.

At the shop, we try so much to be responsive to customers, and are well known for our efforts.

Congratulations and Happy New Year. Best wishes with the Pilates. (But maybe do take along a kitchen timer!) xo
