Cowart's Common Room
Christmas bugs

I too was unwell at Christmas, spent the best part of Christmas Day in bed and was not up to speed on Boxing Day either. Went to work this morning (even though I was meant to be on leave) because my relief was ill as well. Luckiliy they found someone to cover this afternoon and do the late night. I have heard of so many people being ill this Christmas and I am sure it is the stress of the season weakening our immune systems.

Frances's Avatar Cait, rest up, have every liquid that you can manage. Feel better, and get ready for a magnificent 2008.

Westerwitch's Avatar Oh so sorry Cait - rotten to be ill, but Xmas just makes it feel worse - hope you are well enough to celebrate new year.

Exmoorjane's Avatar Very sorry to hear you've been poorly = it's a really nasty bug for sure. Rest up (as far as you can) - do hope they can find relief so you can curl up (with a good book of course) and rest it out... Janexx

Camilla's Avatar Glad you liked the Rose Card Cait,

Hoping that the infection you have soon disappears. Most of my family had it on Christmas Day, so no festive meal eaten sadly. Not sure if you have to work at Library tomorrow Cait, if you are still unwell, hoping that you can enjoy a good rest with a nice book, and relax in front of the woodburner.

Love and Hugs,
