Cowart's Common Room

Phew.!! It has been a busy day, wrapped the last few of the presents for grandchildren, then cooked a big roast Beef dinner for all the family, oh, and had Christmas Pudding with brandy butter. Much wine flowed, and I ate too much as usual...

Now past midnight, I remember when my children were small at this time of year, how I used to tip-toe into their bedrooms to put a few extra presents in their stockings.

Which just leaves me to say - A Very Happy Christmas To One And All
Let's hope 2008 is a great one.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Camilla's Avatar Lots of children will be opening their Christmas Stockings this morning. But let us not forget the children who are less fortunate who are experiencing difficult times.

Grouse's Avatar When the children were small we always remembered people less fortunate who couldnt celebrate Christmas safely with their families, as we sat down to our Christmas Dinner. Idont ask them to do that now they are grown up but I always offer a silent prayer of thanks myself and spare a thought for those less fortunate. This year my thoughts are with the McCann family.

Camilla's Avatar Good Morning Grouse,

Happy Christmas,

I too shall be asking our family to say a silent prayer for the hungry and needy and less fortunate, and my thoughts will be with the McCann family also.
