Merry Christmas from British Columbia

Merry Christmas everyone, from this side of the Pond.
I've enjoyed your virtual company so much over the last months. I feel as though I know many of you, and your families. So Feliz Navidad, Frohe Weinachten, Nadolig Llawen, Joyeux Noel and a very Merry Christmas to everyone. May 2008 be as rich in friendship as 2007 has been for all of us.

Fennie's Avatar Panama never looked like that in my geography book!

(Sorry that may be a this side of the pond joke - about a man who went canoeing, disappeared, believed drowned, and then turned up in Panama living on the life insurance whence both he and his wife have been hauled home to face the unforgiving majesty of the law. His family don't know whether to be upset b the prospect of criminal parents or to rejoice that the old man isn't dead after all. It's an interesting conundrum). Happy Christmas, Pondie.

Exmoorjane's Avatar Ah, is this you paddling off into the brave new year? What you don't see in the picture is the hotch-potch of paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, blow-up dinghies following behind - the purple flotilla!
Happy Christmas......janexxxxx

Westerwitch's Avatar Oh Pondside a very Happy Xmas to you too. You have brought us fun and laughter and a grandchild from across the Pond and helped to make Purplecoo global. Your breakfasts after our parties are legendary . . .long may they continue.
