The Christmas Tree at Pondside

Uploaded Image

I enjoyed looking at the photos of Presli Mag's tree and decorations - and have exchanged Christmas tree photos with some friends. Being the curious sort, I thought I'd ask those who are willing, if they'd post photos of their Christmas tree for all to enjoy. I'd have posted this in the Christmas forum, but couldn't post a photo there. My husband is The Great Dane, and that is why our tree is festooned with flags - a Danish tradition. We use Danish flags, Swedish flags (his mother was in Sweden for his birth!) and Canadian flags.

Faith's Avatar Your tree looks very similar to ours Pondie. I'm having probs with my camera, but will try to get it sorted and post a photo.

Fennie's Avatar Lovely tree, Pondside. Like Faith my camera is on the blink and I've ordered a new one from Amazon which may or may not arrive before Christmas.
Our treee is always covered with a million decorations, big and small which is just as well because this year (my fault for trying to economize) we have ended up with a tree that would not be allowed into any self-respecting conifer forest. It is all top and bottom and no middle if you see what I mean.
If the camera arrives in time I'll send you a piccie. Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog!

Fab tree Pondside, and I loved the tradition of the flags. An Old CL had recently sent me a whole pile of photographs from a Xmas Tree Dressing Festival they have in their welsh village each year, were various societies dress trees to their own specific theme, and a winner is chosen. Mine should go up later this week, Will certainly try and take a picture to post.

Preseli Mags's Avatar That's such a beautiful, sophisticated tree. I love the flags. Mine has too much tinsel (and they're still adding more!) but who am I to argue with two small, but very determined little girls. Very Happy

Exmoorjane's Avatar Anything goes on ours (though I have persuaded James that the tinsel might look better in his room!)...... Adrian has just gone off to dig ours up from a friend's woodland....though now have no idea what we'll put it in as the big planter I ussed last year has a, er, big plant in it. Duh.
I will TRY to do a pic......but don't hold your breath.....Very Happy

Cait's Avatar Here's my contribution, hope you like the fairy.
I have no room for a tree really but might get a mini something or other at the weekend. I do love trees, especially when they are lit up. Yours is so pretty Pondside.Uploaded Image

Camilla's Avatar A pretty tree Pondside, have bought tiny one this year, but no decorations on tree yet. Cannot take photo, as no digital camera, son has one though which I hope he will bring with him at Christmas.

Cait - That is such a lovely picture of Fairy.
