Cowart's Common Room
Reincarnation

For a reason that now seems lost in the mists of time I fell into discussing reincarnation in my last blog and several purple cooers ventured their favourite animals to be reincarnated as. I've also asked a few others. Top of the list, by a short head, comes the cat. But other contributions beside my own (duck) have been, dog, roe deer and songbird (unspecified).

I put the same question to the (30 something) 'children.'

'Cockroach' says Younger Daughter.

?????????

They are the only animals capable of surviving a nuclear explosion!

'Mayfly' says Elder Daughter.

But they only live for a day.

'Yes, but it's a very lovely day!'

Ahhhhh!

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar And it is all relative so the May Fly's lovely day will seem the same length, possibly, as our life span does to us.

Re:
Faith's Avatar I'd prefer to be a dog I suppose - they do things with the people and have fun. Or a bird - i'd like to fly and be free.

Re:
Withy Brook's Avatar I think a cat probably. They are their own people if that is the right way to say it. And they seem to find the best and warmest places. Not a ferral one though.
