Cowart's Common Room
Not again!!!!

I can't stand it....more flipping rain! Aargh!!!! The duck pond has turned red (?) and is flooding over the daffy leaves and snowdrops pushing their way through; the hens look such pathetic creatures with their heads hung low as they stand in the pen all forlorn cos they're too stupid to shelter in their gargantuan henhouse (complete with veranda I'll have you know) and I am putting off the moment when I have to brave it all to lob some grain in their direction. Only the ducks are happy. Oh well, here's another sunny pic to remind us of what has been and what is yet to come (sorry WW, I know you like the winter weather but I can't wait for spring!!!)

Happy Saturday everyone xxUploaded Image

Toady's Avatar Hi Pip,
Looks like it's just me and you this morning. If it's any consolotation it's raining stair rods here and even worse, storm force winds and gales tomorrow. Ahh the pleasures of living in the West Country. Great picture, I still want to eat those chubby arms.

Cait's Avatar I am loving your beautful photos Pipany, I am a winter lover but I love summer as well. Seems like the monsoon season at the moment.

Re:
Faith's Avatar Pipany's bluebell fairies! I'm not mad on winter, specially all this rain. The river is thundering past. The doves droop on the roof, and all their grain has got soggy. And Yorkie says I make him go out in the rain to do a pee!

wonderful picture .... made me think of my favourite harbingers of warmer days, daffodils .... so despite getting a soaking I went to check how mine were getting along .... the weather is insane, there are a half dozen or so already in flower and many are about to!

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Another beautiful picture Pipany. Has been raining heavily all day today, alright if one is a duck.

I do not mind the winter, but not so if continual rain, love the snow crisp and white, but not sludgey, no snow here yet though.

Thank you for showing us your lovely sunny pictures Pipany, gorgeous children.
