Withy Brook's Avatar Plan something similar as we will be on our own for Christmas, but a visit from a step daughter and husband during the week. I don't cover the piece of stem as much but do spray it and hang things from it.

Frances's Avatar Elegant!

It will be fun to see what many of us may have as decorations. I expect a wide variety.

KittyB's Avatar Very pretty, I'm going out today to find a nice branch to hang a few decorations on to get in the mood before the tree goes up on the 15th. Well, when it stops raining I will, horrible weather here, very mild but rainy and windy, not Christmassy at all yet!

Cait's Avatar That is pretty. I am inspired as I haven't much room for a tree really.

That is lovely ELizabethd.
We are also going away but not until 28th so we can't escape having one tree with my boys!
However I have said we can't have 2 this year and instead should go to the woods and get lots of twigs, put them in a galvanised bucket and spray them silver to hang baubles on-your idea has confirmed how sometimes the simple things look the best.
